Design

I’m a graphic designer with fourteen years experience specializing in book cover design and interior layouts. An avid reader myself, I love designing books that visually stand out in the marketplace.

As an illustrator, I’ve created book covers, pattern designs for Bentology lunch boxes, coloring pages for Cheerios, and countless designs for small businesses, wedding invitations, non-profits and events.

Design Client Reviews

Five Stars! I met Alissa through a friend, and working with her has been one of the best decisions I have made as an author. She is incredibly easy to work with and brings so much compassion, kindness, and patience to the creative process. As someone who can be very all over the place, I cannot overstate how much I appreciate her steady guidance and understanding.

On top of being wonderful to collaborate with, Alissa is insanely talented. I constantly receive compliments on both my romantic comedy covers, and people regularly stop to ask who designed them. Her work truly stands out.

Beyond my covers, Alissa has also designed the interiors of both of my novels and created artwork for social media. She has been an invaluable support throughout my publishing journey, including the moments when I felt completely overwhelmed. I am genuinely grateful our paths crossed and I look forward to continuing to work with her in the future.

-Kelly Hennelly, Author

Alissa’s design work on my award-winning children’s picture book, Floo Flocky Doo to the Rescue, was truly exceptional. The accolades the book has received—and continues to receive—are due in large part to her remarkable creative vision and keen design sense. When I write future sequels in the series, Alissa will unquestionably be my first choice as graphic designer.

- David Gillespie, Author

Alissa knew exactly where to place each word in Miss Mittens so the story reads smoothly and the key moments truly pop on the page. She wins the award for working with first time authors and making adjustments on the fly.

-Penny McAlpin, Author

It was a pleasure to work with Alissa — she did a wonderful job in helping prepare our books for release.  She was very responsive and prompt, and I always felt like I was in good hands with our projects.

-John Mashni, Author

When I needed an upgrade for the cover of my novel, Alissa delivered remarkable results. She expertly brought my old cover into the modern era, giving it a fresh and stellar appearance that exceeded my expectations. Her attention to detail was evident throughout the transformation process with impressive speed and a talented eye made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. If you are searching for an art designer, look no further than Alissa DeGregorio. She is certain to make you happy.
